Furniture and Fixtures

At the Reef Resort we provide you with the most Eco-friendly and sustainable furniture and fixtures throughout the property. All of our wood furniture has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC regulates and protects deforestation within the United States and Canada. All of our wood furniture comes from plantations that are responsibly managed. Our pool furniture is made with the FSC certified wood. The fabric for the chair cushions and unbrella is made with Sunbrella fabric. Sunbrella recycles all of their unused fabric and also avoids using toxic dyes that are harmful to the planet and to humans.
In the guest rooms and suites you will find some of the same hand crafted wood that have also been approved by the FSC. Our rooms have a more modern vibe with recycled wood paneling and basic white comforters. Our linen is made with 100% organic cotton. Our linen supplier is Rawganique Linen and they grow their own cotton and they are also sweatshop free.
At the Reef Resort we like to give back to the community. A majority of the artwork on property is created by local artists. One of the artists that we use is the talented Stacie Krupa. We also sell some of Ms. Krupa's artwork in the gift shop. Make sure you stop by so you can see some of the options we have available.
The majority of our “fixtures” are eco-friendly. Some of our fixings include water efficient shower heads and faucets from the company Moen. Since 2009 all of Moen’s faucets are certified to meet the EPA’s “WaterSense” criteria. Moen’s faucets also save 32% of water and still maintain the same amount of pressure you would expect from a non-efficient faucet.
